Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan was recently spotted at the launch of DVD of his film ‘PK’ and is now all focused on his next role for Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal. As spotted he looked quite overweight with muscular body and biceps. He has aged graciously and that was nowhere hidden. Speaking more on his look, the actor revealed the reason behind it.

As we know Aamir Khan is an ardent admirer of perfect detailing and he prefers dwelling deep in to his character. For Dangal also, he is going an extra mile with his efforts. The PK actor has buffed up physically and has gained weight of 90 kg to look bulky just like wrestlers.

At the launch event he confessed that he is undergoing a lot of learning session for his role in the movie. He is also learning a new language which is Haryanvi and the art of wrestling as well. In Dangal, Aamir Khan is playing father to two girls who are wrestlers. As per the news the film is a biopic on the life of Mahavir Phogat, father of Indian women wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. Seems like sports is the new fashion in Bollywood with films based on sports turning out to be real hits in the past (read Lagaan and Chak De India). It will be quite interesting to see Aamir Khan as a wrestler after he played the role of a cricketer in Lagaan.

The trend of biopics is growing in Bollywood as we will see some interesting ones which will release soon. Sushant Singh Rajput is playing M.S Dhoni while there are rumours that hockey player Dhyan Chand’s life is also set to roll on camera and tentatively Shah Rukh Khan has been approached for the role.

In the past Dirty Picture was biopic where Vidya Balan played the role of Silk Smitha and Priyanka Chopra played the role Mary Kom in the movie ‘Mary Kom’.

Well we know Aamir Khan portrays his character with great level of perfection and with Dangal, our hopes are only getting higher.
