Chelsea Vs ManU: Preview

Jose Mourinho

Football fans around the world are gearing up for the clash of the big boys of EPL as Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge tonight.
Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea, sit in the second position(46points) while United occupy a mediocre 7th position(37 points), in the league standings.
David Moyes will be missing some much required fire power with both Wayne Rooney(groin) and Robin Van Persie(thigh) out with injuries. United still believe that they can break into the top four and a win at Stamford Bridge will surely catapult their confidence. United need to display some of their form from last season if they are to secure a victory.
Mourinho has confirmed that new signing Nemanja Matic has been added to the squad but will not start. Mourinho has faced United with four different teams in total, and out of the 17 times, he has lost only twice. Even back in August last year, the Portuguese had travelled to Man United, plainly with a draw in his agenda and his team stifled the life out of the game with a nil-nil result in the end. His plan has been quite effective; a draw in an away game and a win at home, against strong opponents.

Both teams will be looking to secure 3 points from the game.
