They call themselves maniacs. They are spread all across the country and beyond. And they have been eagerly waiting for the next level. Yes, I am talking about the Bajaj Pulsar fans. Spied pictures all over the internet made these people go crazy. Assumptions, in thousands, were made regarding the technical specifications. Bajaj did not let them down. Behold the next generation of Bajaj Pulsars, Pulsar CS400 and Pulsar SS400. The Pulsar duo was launched in the recently concluded Indian Auto Expo, held in Gurgaon. Production is yet to start for the two models. But there is a reason to cherish for the Pulsar fans. The company is gearing up for the launch of Pulsar 200SS, a full-faired version of the present flagship model of Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.

The technical specifications of the Pulsar 200SS is expected to remain the same without much tweaking in the engine or the transmission segment that will churn out around 18NM of torque and 23 BHP. However an extra bit power will be helpful as there will be an addition of weight due to the fairing. No clear picture has yet been revealed but spied pictures reveal the fact that design matches that of Pulsar CS400. Edgy front fairing will be equipped with twin projectors. Rumors also say that they might come with factory Fitted HID(High Intensity Discharge)Bi-xenon headlights. The meter console along with the switches will remain the same. The bike is expected to be launched by end of March. With KTM RC series launch still in the distant future, this bike will surely win the hearts of many. As of now the bike will not face any competition as there is no full-faired bike in this segment (except Bajaj Pulsar 220, which is semi-faired and lacks technical upgradation.). According to sources, the price will be around Rs.15000 more than that of Bajaj Pulsar 200NS.
