India deserves better than Modi as PM: The Economist
The Economist, one of the leading dailies of the country, has come out with a hard hitting article on BJP PM Candidate, Narendra Modi, promptly stating that India deserves a better PM than him. Criticizing Modi’s role in the the Gujrat riots and his nonchalant attitude towards it, the article states Modi’s incumbent RSS ideals will always stop him from being a true secular leader. However, the newspaper also points out the fact that Modi’s exponential rise in the field of politics should be accounted for his well defined vision and incessant hard work whereas his prime rival Rahul Gandhi lacks the steel and ambition to achieve the heights he wants to achieve.
Early Poll Tracker shows BJP creeping ahead of AAP in Delhi
AAP has gone through a roller coaster ride in the past few months. No one can argue with that. In the recent past, the AAP may have been making a lot of noise about going national but if the latest numbers thrown up by Lokanti, a National Poll Tracker, conducted by CSDS IBN is to be believed, than BJP is slowly but surely going ahead of AAP in the race to the Delhi elections. The party, which was projected to win 35 percent of the Lok Sbaha vote share in February, is now down to 29 percent. This is in contrast to the BJP, which has seen its estimated voteshare rise from 36 percent in February to a stronger 40 percent in March
With the D Day not being far round the corner, this Poll tracker will surely come as a shot in the arm for BJP and a shower of distress for the AAP.
